Aatarkada began with a partnership, years of trusted service, and Manju Marasini's determination to create a new kind of store for Tamghas.
Before Aatarkada, husband and wife Gyanraj Marasini and Manju Marasini ran Nirmala Vastralaya together. Side by side, they built a respected clothing business through attentive service, thoughtful selection, and relationships that grew across generations.
After the successful growth of Nirmala Vastralaya and serving more than 30,000 customers, Manju chose to begin a new entrepreneurial chapter. In 2017, she founded and independently led Aatarkada Stores—a business shaped by her own vision for quality fashion, Nepali identity, and deeply personal customer care.
